Refund policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your Wristbuddys purchase. If you are not, we offer a smooth return process. Please read this policy carefully, especially if your order includes promotional items.

This policy has two parts. Part A covers your statutory rights as a consumer, including the right of withdrawal for customers in the EU and your rights if a product is faulty. Part B is our voluntary return and exchange service, which we offer in addition to your statutory rights. Nothing in Part B limits or reduces the rights described in Part A.


Part A: Your statutory rights

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you, or a third party you have nominated other than the carrier, receive the goods. Where your order is delivered in several parts, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, tell us your decision by a clear statement before the period expires. You can use our return portal (see below) or email us at info@wristbuddys.com. You may use the model withdrawal form in our Terms of Service, but it is not required.

Trying the product. You may inspect and try the strap as you would in a shop, including trying it on to check fit. You are only liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product. If the product loses value because of such handling, we may deduct a corresponding amount from your refund.

Refund. If you withdraw, we refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard outbound delivery, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of return, whichever comes first. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

Return shipping. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods when you exercise the right of withdrawal.

Exceptions. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This includes cut-to-size straps that have been cut to your measurements, and engraved or personalised items.

Submit a return request through our portal (EU only)

  1. Click the profile icon in the store's menu, or go to the refund policy or returns page, and request a return.
  2. Sign in to your account by entering your email address and clicking "Continue".
  3. Open the email from our store and copy the six-digit verification code.
  4. Return to the store and enter the six-digit code.
  5. Click "Request return" for the relevant order.
  6. If your order has more than one item, select the items you want to return.
  7. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
  8. Click "Request return".

If your request is approved and requires shipping, you will receive an email with shipping instructions. After the product is returned and inspected, you receive your refund.

Customers outside the EU can request a return by emailing info@wristbuddys.com.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If your product is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, please contact us at info@wristbuddys.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the item and packaging. Inspect your items on delivery where possible.

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen). You may report a defect for up to three years from delivery, and a defect that appears within two years of delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery unless we can show otherwise. The 14-day return window does not apply to faulty goods.

For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, we cover the cost of return and, depending on the circumstances, will repair, replace, or refund the product at no cost to you, as required by law.


Part B: Voluntary returns and exchanges

In addition to your statutory rights above, we offer a voluntary return and exchange service. The conditions in this part apply only to this voluntary service and do not affect your statutory rights.

Return period

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a voluntary return. After 14 days we cannot offer a voluntary refund or exchange. This time limit does not apply to your statutory rights for faulty goods.

Return conditions

To be eligible for a voluntary return, the product must:

  • be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as delivered;
  • include the original packaging, protective films if any, and tags;
  • show no signs of installation or wear;
  • be accompanied by proof of purchase.

This applies to watch straps, watch storage, and accessories such as tools, buckles, and spring bars. Returns must be authorised before sending. Unapproved returns will not be processed. To request one, contact us at info@wristbuddys.com.

Return shipping

For voluntary returns and exchanges, return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We recommend a tracked and insured method, as Wristbuddys is not liable for lost or damaged return shipments.

Exchanges

We always offer exchanges, and we actively encourage it. Want to switch to a different model, colour, or product? Contact us at info@wristbuddys.com and we will guide you through it. The item must be in its original, unused condition with original packaging. Once we receive your return, we send out the new item right away. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Promotions and bundles

If your order included a promotion or bundle, the following applies to the refund calculation:

  • Buy X, Get Y Free (for example Buy 3, Get 1 Free): return all items from the promotion to receive a full refund. Partial returns invalidate the promotion.
  • Percentage discounts (for example Buy 2 straps, get 20% off): if you return only part of the order, the refund is adjusted based on the full price of the items you keep.
  • Free gifts (for example a free watch roll with three or more straps): if a return disqualifies the promotion, the free gift must also be returned unused. If it is not, the retail value of the gift is deducted from your refund.

These terms apply to how a refund is calculated. They do not limit your statutory right of withdrawal or your rights for faulty goods.

Items not eligible for voluntary return

The following are not eligible for a voluntary return:

  • used or worn watch straps;
  • custom, engraved, or personalised items;
  • items showing signs of wear or installation;
  • sale or clearance items;
  • gift cards.

This list applies to our voluntary service only. It does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal as an EU consumer, which applies to sale items in the same way as full-price items, or your statutory rights for faulty goods.

Refund process

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will email you about approval or rejection. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.


Cancellations

If your order has not yet shipped, we can cancel it and refund the full amount, including shipping. If it has already shipped, please wait to receive the package and then start a return.
