FAQ - Cut-to-size Rubber Straps

What does cut-to-size mean?

Cut-to-size means the strap comes slightly longer than standard and can be trimmed at home to match your exact wrist size. The result is a fit that feels tailored rather than generic.

How do I trim a cut-to-size rubber strap?

Use a sharp pair of scissors or a craft knife and cut along the marked lines on the strap. No special tools required.

What lug widths do these straps fit?

The cut-to-size rubber straps are compatible with watches that have a lug width between 18 and 24mm, covering a wide range of popular models from brands like Omega, Rolex, IWC, TAG Heuer and more.

What is the difference between straight-end and curved CTS straps?

Straight-end straps have flat ends that sit between the lugs. Curved straps have ends shaped to follow the case of the watch for a more integrated, seamless look. If your watch has curved lugs, the curved version will typically give a cleaner fit.

Are cut-to-size straps suitable for diving or water sports?

Yes. FKM rubber is water resistant and built for daily wear, including exposure to salt water, chlorine and sweat. It is one of the most durable materials available for watch straps.

Do the straps come with a clasp?

Yes. Each strap includes a polished silver deployant clasp with micro-adjustments. If you prefer a different clasp color, additional options are available separately.

How do I attach a cut-to-size rubber strap to my watch?

Removing your current strap may require a spring bar tool depending on how it is attached. The cut-to-size rubber straps however come with quick-release spring bars, which means attaching and removing them is done by pressing a small pin on the side of the strap. Once they are on, swapping is effortless.
