A breakthrough in perpetual calendar design. The IWC Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar ProSet introduces a new chapter in IWC's long-standing expertise in calendar complications. Building on the legacy of Kurt Klaus, the new ProSet system allows full crown-based adjustment, both forwards and backwards, bringing a level of usability rarely seen in high-end perpetual calendars.

IWC has always approached the perpetual calendar differently. Since the 1980s, the brand has focused on simplicity and usability, most notably through Kurt Klaus' crown-operated system. With ProSet, that philosophy evolves further. The entire calendar is synchronised and gear-driven, allowing full adjustment via the crown in both directions, eliminating pushers and reducing complexity in everyday use.

Despite its complexity, the watch wears surprisingly controlled. The slightly reduced case size makes it more accessible, while still retaining the unmistakable Big Pilot presence. The dial remains the focal point, clean, legible, and information-dense without feeling cluttered.
