Since Swatch has only revealed the name surrounded by a dark circular shadow, a visual representation of a solar eclipse, we have created two of our own concept renderings to imagine how this piece might look. Taking inspiration from the bright yellow Bioceramic case of the original Mission to the Sun, our concepts focus on the dramatic contrast of a solar eclipse. In our first design, a dark central dial is surrounded by a glowing gold corona ring to represent the Sun peaking from behind the Moon. In our second design, a blacked-out dial features fiery orange hands and contrasting light sub-dials to mirror the heat and light of the solar event. Both versions are fitted with a custom yellow rubber strap for a complete, integrated aesthetic.
