International transfers of your personal information
We are based in Sweden, and your personal information may be processed within the European Economic Area and transferred to and stored in countries outside it, including Canada and the United States, by our processors. Where personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or, where applicable, the EU US Data Privacy Framework. For more information on how Shopify handles such transfers, see Shopify's documentation: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/your-account/privacy/GDPR

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy. Where we are required by law to keep certain information, we will do so for the period required. In particular, accounting records, including order and invoice information, are retained for seven years in accordance with the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (Bokföringslagen). After the applicable retention period ends, we delete or anonymise your personal information.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

- have inaccurate or incomplete personal information corrected;
- have your personal information erased, subject to our legal retention obligations;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
- receive your personal information in a portable format;

Your US privacy rights
Depending on the US state in which you live, including California under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information.
Over the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in the "Personal information we collect" section, including identifiers, contact and order details, payment information, internet and device activity, and inferences used for advertising.
Our use of advertising cookies and similar technologies to share information with partners such as Google and Meta may be considered "sharing" or "selling" of personal information under some US state laws, even though we do not exchange your information for money.
Subject to the limits in applicable law, you may have the right to:
- know and access the personal information we have collected about you;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising;
- be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.
To opt out of the sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising, you can decline or adjust non essential cookies through our consent banner, or contact us at info@wristbuddys.com. We also honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal where required by law.
To exercise any of your US privacy rights, please contact us at info@wristbuddys.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Automated decision making
Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision making to prevent fraud. This does not produce a legal or otherwise significant effect on you. Examples include:
- a temporary block of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions, lasting a small number of hours;
- a temporary block of payment cards associated with blocked IP addresses, lasting a small number of days.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to object to processing based solely on automated decision making, including profiling, where it has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to "Do Not Track" browser signals, we do not currently respond to them. We do, however, honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where applicable law requires us to do so, as described in the "Your US privacy rights" section.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can delete it.

You may opt out of the Service at any time. Text the keyword STOP to cancel, or click the unsubscribe link, where available, in any text message. You will receive a one time opt out confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent unless you initiate them.
For support, text HELP or email info@wristbuddys.com.
We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including STOP or HELP requests, sent to a short code or telephone number that we have changed may not be received, and we will not be responsible for honouring requests made in such messages.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide a valid mobile number. If you change your mobile number, you will need to sign up again with the new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, for any errors in such information, or for any action you may take in reliance on the Service.
