Wristbuddys Unveils “Strapomat” – the World’s First Vending Machine for Watch Straps at Dubai Watch Week

Dubai, 19 Nov – The Swedish watch accessory brand Wristbuddys is set to surprise visitors at this year’s Dubai Watch Week with the debut of Strapomat, the world’s first vending machine for watch straps.

In celebration of Dubai Watch Week, Wristbuddys will also debut its limited-edition UAE Rubber Strap, created as a tribute to the event and the region’s watch culture. Alongside it, the brand will showcase its highly popular Denim Leather Straps.

Blending design, tech, and playfulness, Strapomat reimagines how collectors and enthusiasts experience watch accessories. At the event, guests will be able to browse, select and strap on – all within seconds.

“We’ve always believed that watch collecting should be fun, accessible, and full of personality,” says Samuel Lavatt, Founder of Wristbuddys. “Strapomat is our way of bringing that spirit to life, it’s unexpected, engaging, and a little bit rebellious in a world that can sometimes take itself too seriously.”

The unveiling of Strapomat marks the brand’s first public activation in the Middle East and a step toward a new kind of experiential retail for the watch industry.
